kindergarten. The following are the three core programs we will be using throughout the year:
Zoo Phonics: Zoo-phonics is a method developed to make children strong readers and spellers using their “phono” (hearing), “oral” (speaking), “visual” (seeing), “kinesthetic” (moving), and tactile (touching).
Get Set for School: These lessons teach a variety of readiness, writing, literacy, and early math skills.
Fitness with Fun: Gym time at Edge Preschool consists of fun and exciting activities for your child
designed to conform speed, balance, and agility, along with improving hand and eye coordination.

Sharon has lived in Alaska for 29 years, has been married 30 years and has two grown children. She has over thirty years of experience in Child Care and Preschool. Sharon also has a CDA and an Associate Degree in Early Child Development.
Wendy is a wife and mother of two precious girls, ages six and four. She has a Bachelor of Education and has taught for the Mat-Su School District both in the elementary and middle school levels. She currently holds a teaching certificate with the State of Alaska.
Alina is a wife and mother of two thrill-seeking young sons. Alina has a B.S. degree in Exercise Sports Science and has over 10 years of working experience in the fitness industry. Alina has a motivating spirit and constant eagerness to educate our youth about the importance and fun of getting active.
If I don't feel confident about my body, I'm not going to sit at home and feel sorry for myself and not do something about it. It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever.
